Who's your favourite Red Dwarf character?

It has to be Rimmer 'which rhymmes with scum'. When he left the series it was not the same and when he returned it was one of the best series but sadly they didn't go on to make anymore. I love Red Dwarf and often watch it time and time again. Its ashame it had to end!!

my favorite would definitely be cat. in my mind theres no comparison between him and the others, but thats me. one of my favorite parts w/ him would be "i like my food to move." in the virtual game, and of course you have to love when he brings gifts to lister when lister is sick (apple, grapes, orange)

Ace rimmer is brilliant, they should have made a cheesy spin-off with him. "The Adventures of Ace Rimmer!: Smoke him a Kipper he'll be back for breakfast" full of the awful quality but fantastically funny fight scenes, it would have been brilliant. Sorry got distracted there. My favourite character from the main bunch is a tough choice, i supppose the idea is that you wouldn't want to spend eternity floating through space with any of them (maybe with the exception of Kochanski) I think Kryten has some very funny episodes but i might have to go for Rimmer, not because i'd want to be stuck in space with him (i'd kill myself) but because he was in my view the funniest character and the bunk scenes between him and Lister are what made red dwarf the funniest program of all time

My favorite would have to be holly, thats the norman lovett holly rather than hatty hayridge (probably spelt wrong). He just made me chuckle a lot.
