When Do You Come To Life???

Is there a certain part of the day when you feel more inspired than others?
I seem to be at my best, late at night. All my thoughts and inspirations seem to come to me when I am on my own, in my own little world.
How about you?
Do you come to life in the morning, afternoon, evening, or when most sane people are tucked up in bed???

For me, it's after I've had that first cup of coffee in the morning. The kids are off to school, the house is nice and quiet...it's probably my favorite and most constructive part of the day.

I'm a real night owl so I come to life about 10pm!! Not unusual at all for me to be still sitting at the pc at 2am which is bad news really as I have to get up at 7am. I'm usually fairly sleep deprived and am not a morning person at all. Am working on it though - one of the many new year resolutions that I haven't kept yet was to go to bed at a sensible time. It's just so difficult - I'm not tired at the time when most sane people go to bed!

I am exactly like you, it was like reading about myself.
Every day I say to my mate at work I am going to bed early tonight and every morning I get to work knackered and she will always ask me what time I went to bed!!
It has also been my new years resolution too! There just ain't enough hours in the day!!
Cheers, now GO TO BED!!!LOL

I am the same as you. My prime time is the night time. This is when I get in the mood to clean, exercise, everything. All day, I am so worn out. I get things done, but only the things I HAVE to do! :) I do laundry and clean a lot after my kids go to bed at 830pm. This is my best time between about 830pm and midnight.

Mid day, Evenings or Night.
It depends on what's going on around me. I do try to keep focused all the time although it's hard to be inspired for that amount of time.
When I'm ready to go to sleep my thoughts become free and un tangled. I do focus better than but writing wise it's best late at night or early monring (before sleep)
Kudos,
~Joey

I am sure before we sleep we are more intune with our thoughts!
I am at my best in the morning after sleep deprivation, at work and late at night for the same reason!! Madness I'm sure!!!!

It never fails, as soon as I walk into my apartment after a says work, I feel great!
No matter how tired I was at work, I feel ten times better once I am at home.
Maybe being tired is just a state of mind.

I'm the same as you.. Late at night is when I'm at my best. I generally end up dragging my feet all through the day and can be especially ornery in the mornings, but as soon as 10pm comes around I'm wide awake and ready to spend a great night on the internet and playing video games. My mom has always joked that I'm going to need to get a job where I can work all night and sleep all day.

I know what you mean. I was here till nearly 4:00am yesterday and had to be up by 7:30am. I then had to go to Uni until 8:00pm, so I am exhausted now, but can I go to bed now? NO!!
We must be mad LOL!!

I am a night person also. That is when I have the most energy and feel full of life. I usually exercise and go out and have a good time at night

Yes and it certainly ain't the morning! I am NOT a morning person, I'm like a bear with a sore head, I'm grumpy, grouchy and if anyone tries to talk to me before 10am I will snap their head off! Leave me alone if it's early. I am and always have been a night owl. I can easily stay up till 2am in the morning bright eyed and bushy tailed. I am more inspired at between 8pm and 12am when I'm nearly always on Mylot! I used to love working shifts so I could sleep in till 11am in the morning! Just like a wolf I'm truly a nocturnal beastie.

The best time of the day for me is first thing in the morning. After I have my coffee of course. On the weekdays I have my coffee while I'm getting the kids out the door for school, then I have the house to myself for a bit and that's when I go into overdrive and get things done. I wind down around 3pm or 4pm when everyone is coming home, get through dinner, homework, more chores and then I gear up again around 8pm when I'm getting the kids to bed. I probably get my second wind at night when the kids are going to bed because I know I'll have a little time to myself before I hit the sack.

You do have a busy life. Being a mum is a very demanding job and we have to be on the ball most of the time. It is nice once the kids have gone to bed so we can have time to relax.
All mums deserve it!!
Cheers!!

OMG, only 2-3 hours sleep a night, you must be exhausted as well as inspired.
I hope things are getting better between you and your son!!

I find that I'm the most articulate and clear-headed in the morning. In the afternoon, it's usually all I can do to stay awake. In the evening, I enjoy light entertainment and socializing. Deep-thinking is for mornings only, thank you.

I start getting my "second wind" when it's time to go home from work, so I'd say late afternoon/early evening I start to feel great.
