This weekend I went to the Bob Evans Farm festival and I saw one exhibit where I really wanted to buy something and learn to make the things myself. They cut apples into slices and preserved them in paraffin. They said the apples would last forever like that. They also scented the apples with cinnamon. They made baskets and other things out the apples, one apple basket had real flowers preserved with paraffin, which they said would last forever as well. Has anyone here ever heard of this, I would like to know how to make them myself? I tried searching the internet and can't find anything.

I'll bet that someone here in myLot can be of help, either directing you where to look or giving you information you can use. It certainly does sound interesting and would make some great gifts.
