My main worries over the years have been my children and also money. I have had big debts in the past but now thankfully they are behind me but I still worry about money but not like I used to.

I don't really worry about anything. My bills are paid on time and my family are all healthy and happily married. The job will come to an end soon, but a good pension will be provided so there is no need to worry.

The FUTURE worries me. People who don't believe in Peak Oil, or Global Warming worry me. My husband and I trying to plan for this future worries me. We are trying to buy a farm right now to be sekf sustaining, and the cost of the farm worries me... our ability to afford having children.. our future health... lots of things like that worry me.

Hi Carolee,
You ask "What worries you"?
This one sort of grabbed me as it's one of the subjects I am humbly proud to comment on.
Worry? What is worry? Miriam Webster defines worry as this:
"to afflict with metal distress or anxiety". It also says, "to feel or experience concern or anxiety".
These two definitions of 'worry' actually don't express or properly define how many people suffer the overwhelming stress of the actual experience.
I am one who feels extremely blessed over this issue of many people's everyday lives because, I can honestly say, I don't worry.
The words "Don't worry, be happy" ring in my ears as I write this response because when I decided to lay my worries at the foot of the cross, which I did many years ago, I had to learn it wasn't beneficial to return to the cross and pick them back up again.
Jesus tells us that worry is something the devil plants in our heart to keep us from experinencing His joy. His joy is a gift we have to learn is there for the taking. It's a free gift. One that we can choose to act on or consequently, make the choice to leave it alone, instead, picking up the worry the devil has to offer.
I, for one, believe with all my heart, that God's promises are true and for our benefit. I know beyond a shadow of doubt that He is in complete control of my life. Through trial and error, I learned to trust, if He is indeed in complete control, (knowing I have a will to choose), that He can control things in a much better manner than I can. I know He has my best interest at heart, therefore, when I am faced with the possibility of something 'worrying' me, I make the conscious choice to turn that problem or issue over to God. I let Him do the worrying for me. I don't 'fret' or concern myself with such issues because I know He is going to work things out. Even when others are questioning my sanity,in that,I listen to what I believe He is telling me about the situation and have little response to an evident 'concern', I know the outcome will not only please Him but benefit and bless me.
So what do I worry about. I can honestly say I don't worry about a thing because I know Our Heavenly Father, The Almighty God, has everything under control. I'm just along for the blessings.

Just about all of the above. Health, bills and family are the main things I stress over. It seems like something is always going wrong with those three. When ever something is going good then something happens. The bills sky rocket, someone gets sick, or something is wrong with the family. Never fails and once one thing goes wrong they all do. The saying "When it rains it pours" is an understatement at my house.

Right now my bf is what worries me the most. We fight a lot over mundane things that make no sense. It really worries me and makes me wonder if he and I are going to last or not. I think thats probably the only thing that worries me the most.

I worry about myself. This is because I would always worry that "sooner or later, I will be worried about something". Strange, huh? For example, I did some volunteer work for more than a month. At first, everything was running smoothly, then I suddenly foresaw some negative outcome from having to volunteer unconditionally. This caused me to worry because I know that sooner or later I would worry that I made the wrong decision. The consequence of that would be lack of interest in pursuing the volunteer job. I often fear myself because of this.

Actually a lot of things worries me so much, about handling my finances, expenses, how to stretch my income, health and my brother. But basically, these are common worries to us normal individual, whats important is we know how to handle them.We must teach ourselves to be more positive thinker too, to find ways to get rid of it, maybe.

I have to be honest in saying that I am not much of a worrier. LOL...I guess I let my husband do it for me. I do worry sometimes about the health of my family and I think the only other two things that get me too worked up are when my husband is angry with me and I know I was wrong or when my students are having a hard time and there is nothing I can do to help them !

You know something? I used to worry about all of those things, but not anymore.
It just takes too much waste of energy.
Many things we cannot control anyway so what is the sense of worrying.
I just do the best I can every day.

All these worry me! I just graduated from the college. Now I earn very little money. I'm in need of money! I need money to buy house, which is so expensive. The job I have now is not satisfying, even though i will do it for a time. There are lots of things I should learn. Actually, I want to have a job as a teacher. Health and family always bother me! Health is the most important. Carolee, take care of yourself@!
