The Philippines is a very rich and beautiful country. But the President and her cohorts are corrupt and they do things not for the welfare of the country and people but for their personal interests. Poor Philippines!

Philippines? Pinas? Hmmmmmm..... First thing that comes to mind? Lechon and the beach! Weird but true... I think mostly of food. Bibingka and puto bungbong, halo-halo and mais con yelo. A lot more actually, but these are delicacies you'd find served by a pretty maiden with a great smile to share. :)

The thing that comes to my mind is beautiful people, a beautiful country, and I am not too sure about the corrupt leaders. I do not live there and never have lived there so that I wouldn't know. I have seen many pictures of the place as well as met some really beautiful people from there.

The people, they are one of the best hospitable people in the world. Just imagine those people that are living only for an average income, when they have visitors, they always try their best to accomodate them to make sure that they would enjoy their visit. In festivals, those people who are so-called 'have-nots' always make sure that they would also have something to put on their table, to have something to offer for visitors like relatives and friends to enjoy their stay.
