What kind of Chinese? Is it Mandarine? Well, I want to learn also Mandarine Chinese, as we all know, Chinese is the number one most speaking language in the world being spoken bay 1 billion 2 hundred million people on earth. That is why I am interested to know it too.

Welcome to MyLot! This is a good way to practice your WRITTEN English. For spoken English, you do need to use it in order to perfect it. Since English is not my number 1 language, it's sometimes harder for me to think of speaking my thoughts. Anyway, I think that if you get the hang of writing in English, soon, you'll also get the hang of speaking in it too!
I'm also of Chinese descent and I am quite fluent in 2 dialects, Mandarin and Fookien. :)

That's a good thing. Being determined to study English is the first thing to start the whole learning process. Actually, I work as an English tutor here in the Philippines. I teach Koreans of all ages. I don't necessarily have favorite students or what. All is fair. Everyone is equal as I deal with them. By the way, if you really want to learn English, you have to make it a way of life. Make it a part of your life. You may read English books. You may also write your own English stories or articles. You may watch Hollywood movies or videos. You may listen to English songs, etc. As I said, make it a part of your life. You should study with passion and desire. And mind you, everything will fall smoothly after.

I'd suggest you watch english movies with chinese subtitles. I really helps to hear the language while watching and reading it. And a lot more fun.
