I have found that members use very peculiar names as their log in names at Mylot.com. I would like to know how did you choose or decided your log in name at mylot? I find some log in names are tounge-twister, some in double dutch, some are very funny, some are very simple, some are uncomprehendable. Share your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

"Amputekthure" comes from Cedric Bixler-Zavala's registered ASCAP name, as shown in a line of text in the Mars Volta's Amputechture album's liner notes:
[C] & [P] 2006 Hija De Lola [ASCAP], Amputekthure [ASCAP], EMI April Music Inc.

Hi Deepak
I didn't thought much when I choose my id on mylot -- touchnshine as because I am already using this id on www.ebay.in. So I registered here with the same name. Do you think my login name is funny ?? I only thought that it would be easier to remember my id if I keep it with the same name as I kept it on ebay.

Hi! Preeti!
First reply to your question. Your log in name does not sound funny...rather I find it very imaginative and interesting...and If you can recall, I once wrote to you about your log in name...that if anybody's going to touch you...that means if any body comes in contact with you...he/she would definitely shine in your compnay.
But still the answer remains to my question, how did you initially thought of using of framing this kind of name...you would have got an idea from somewhere? Is not is?
(It is OK, if you are using the same long in name else where and wish to use here on mylot also).
Thanks sooooooooooooooo much for replying to one of my oldest discussion.
Did you dig out the discussion? LOL!
Deepak
Have a nice day!

I love to read counter-comments on my discussions. Thanks very much for explaining the issue in details. So sweet and great of you that you found out my discussion, an intersting one, to reply.
My log-in to me is very poor and boring, I feel, while yours I agree is very meaningful and interesing and eye-catching.
Have a nice day!
Deepak

Hi Deepak
Well ok about my id --- I kept this name because I liked it very much .. On ebay we are able to change our user name .. Earlier I had rush789 as my id -- which makes no sense .. my sister told me that your id should represent something -- some company name or something different which looks meaningful .. I thought for the whole night and so I kept this user id. Yes Deepak you are right .. I digged out your discussion because I wanted to answer in any of your discussions so I searched if I get any of the interesting discussion on which I can respond :)

I had this user name in another forum and brought it with me here. I choose pinklilly because I like the pink lily flower and thought it was cute and so I merged the two and added an extra l... So I became pinklilly... Sweet like the flower ;)

Artemis is the greek goddess of the moon and the hunt. She is keeper of the wild an protector of children. This is a great topic as I've wondered the same thing. I use it all over. An old beau used to call my Arty. Short for Artemis. 432 is random.

It is my default user name in my form filler. It is also the address for one of my sites http://sharone74.tripod.com which is an educational resourses site that I built last year. I use sharone74 just about everywhere on the web. Its my first name last initial and year I was born.

My username in mylot is wayz12. Wayz is a phonetic version of my real name which is composed only of two letters, the last two letters of the English alphabet. My nickname when written down is actually longer thatn my real name. It was originally coined by a bestfriend during my elementary days. Since then, I have adapted it as my official pseudonym online. The 12 came from my birthday, having been born on the 12th of August.

Hi. My login name "shilpaum" is just short form of my name. Whenever I'm registering for any site I prefer to use my name in simplest manner, whatever is available. Don'r like to complicate it as u said above tounge-twister,double dutch or funny.
What ur login name suggests? Dpk is ok..deepak but what about, 26 of any month of 2006 or 2nd of june 2006.What is special..?

I know that your log in name relates to your real name. Actually, '26' or '2006' has no relevance with my log-in name. It was just added for some technical purpose initially, when I opened a yahoo mail account. Later when I logged into mylot, I simply used it, without thinking that log-in names can be eye-catching and interesting one also. I regret my decision.

i've recently came up with "meleshia kahuna" as my official name whenever i play RPG (role-playing games) because i wanted to have one that sounds like those in the fantasy novels that i read. then the name kinda stuck with me, i used it to name my blog and other login names that i've created after i coined that name. ^__^

@cristalkate (536)

cristalkate comes from my name, then maiden name and my daughter's name. I planned to add it with my son's name but it is too long enough. It would not be nice anymore if I will add it. So, I had just let it be like it. Furthermore, I also like the outcome of my username. I love it. LOL :))

My username is rather simple. Connie is my real name. I just added the 1013 because it is my birth month and day. I am not very good at making up new usernames for each site that I join.

Connie, thanks very much. I believe simple is always beautiful. I have taken three letters i.e. 'd', 'p' and 'k' from my name Deepak. I had to add Numbers due to some reasons, actually, numbers which I added with my name has no particular logic behind it.
