Hi,
My biggest weakness is laziness. I am trying from past 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.... years to overcome this laziness and be active. I am confident that I am a little bit intelligent but due to this laziness I am losing that confidence. I am not even able to take care about the concepts that I have to work in my office. I have certainly no problem now. But more in competetive world I would really face problem in future.
My physic too looks a little fatty. I ought to go to Gym or go for jogging so that It would not further get bad. But as I said earlier due to my laziness I am not able to get up earlier and do them.
So I am asking you all how to overcome laziness.
Give best answer.
Keep Smiling.
Make Smiling.
Be Happy.
Be Healthy.

I am a bonafide lazy *ss myself. In the morning I literally drag myself from the bed and force myself to get ready for work.
What I've done lately is go straight to the shower, eat breakfast and drink coffee. This livens me up and keeps me awake long enough until I get to the office.
Maybe the cause of your laziness is that you're doing something which you don't enjoy doing. Maybe you should do something you want to do. A change in your lifestyle may be appropriate. If you're on the heavy side you may consider changing your eating habits. Watch what you eat and yes, start on an active lifestyle. It need not be something intense. Doing simple house chores will do like folding clothes, pressing buttons on the TV instead of using the remote, etc. As long as keeps you occupied and you're doing SOMETHING.
Instead of parking your car at the office parking area you may park a block or two away so you could walk the distance to your office. Good luck!

Laziness is a lust of the flesh. Lust is merely a strong desire. And a man who wakes up in the morning has a strong desire to just keep laying in bed.
It’s a lust for comfort. Who wants to leave the soft, cozy warmth of rest? It is so much easier to just lay there enjoying the leisure of a little more sleep.
There was a time when I had lost my purpose for living. I no longer had any motivation to succeed at anything. Everything seemed so senseless. I couldn’t die, but I didn’t want to live.
But, life goes on! My family still needed money to live on. The lawn needed to be mowed, the garbage needed to be emptied. But, I didn’t feel like doing any of the ordinary chores around the house and yard. I went in and out of depression like a kid playing with a revolving door.
So what happened to change me? Well, it’s this way. I finally got tired of hearing how lazy I was. I didn’t like being on the defensive all the time. And to tell you the truth - there never was a good reason for my procrastination and for my refusals to do what needed to be done. I finally had to admit to myself that I was indeed ‘lazy’. I was unmotivated. I didn’t care. It was actually ‘painful’ for me to get up and do something. Not pain, pain. But, I did act like it was really going to hurt me to ‘do a little something’. I can’t explain it. Only another lazy person can know that feeling.
I didn’t like being lazy, but I couldn’t make myself have the energy or the desire to accomplish anything. So, one day I started talking to God about the matter. And I actually admitted that I was lazy. I told him all about it and asked Him what I could do about it.
