What Forms Of Spirituality Are People Interested In??

Hi Sanglant!! I too only know a bit about Jung but I enjoy his psychological belief system and I find it parralels my own in many ways. I think what you are referring to is what Jung called the "collective unconscious", where there are concepts like archetypes out there in the back of our minds..passed on culurally and symollically from one generation to the next and that we are all influenced by these archepyes unscounsciously. For example..the archetype of the "mother"...we have ideas in our head about what a "good mother" is and what a "bad mother" is..and we are unconsciously affectedt o behave in these subconsciou ways.... I know I'm being too simplistic in my response but it is a pretty complicated and all inclusive concept. I would love to explore Jung more in depth with you and anyone else who is interested. I agree with you EvanHunter, people need to find their own meaning...I believe there is only one G-d, Great Mystery,whatever you want to call your belief and that it doesn't matter what name you use to describe your belief..it's enough that you believe :o) So how do you find your spirituality being threaded through your day to day life? :o) Mithrae
