What is IQ?

I.Q. is a largely effective method of ranking people according to their analytic, or "academic," intelligence. I.Q. scores are highly predictive of how well children will do throughout their school career, and how they will score on other academic tests. The scores also correlate moderately well with future social status and income. IQ is the acronym for intelligent quotient, and refers to a score given for several standardized intelligence tests. The first of these was developed by French psychologist Alfred Binet in 1905. He constructed the IQ test, as it would later be called, to determine which children might need additional help in scholarly pursuits. I didn't appear this test in my life. I don't even care it because somebody is yet to call me an idiot! My qualification and work done in the life has very well proved this.

Yes, IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient... meaning how smart you are intellectually. Some IQ tests also reveal in what area you excel and in which area you lag behind. I tried taking one of the IQ tests at www.tickle.com and showed a correct result. It said that I am a Word Architect...that I use words remarkably well. It also informed me what I already knew a long time ago --- that I am very weak in Math.

An intelligence quotient or IQ is a score derived from one of several different standardized tests attempting to measure intelligence. Mine is above-average, and I'm quite fond of taking an IQ test over and over although there are different questions all the time so you cant cheat.
