well i live with my christian mum and recently converted to islam wich i must say is an achievement but we tend to bicker on a constant basis about our faiths,so we set up a rule on not to speak about our faiths at all.
so tell me is it possible for us ever to get accept one another???
i mn ow of two roomates who consist of also one christian and one muslim woman, and they seem to get along fine....but somehow we cant :(
so comment pls,it would really help

My husband and I have different beliefs. we're both christians, though but of different sect. It was not easy at first. He was really angry and wished so hard to let him hear me about what I learned but he wouldnt let me talk.
So many things have happened but the things that made it possible for us to be ok now is, patience, endurance, and yes, just like you said, do not talk about it.
We respect each other's belief.

People accept what they understand and if you don't talk about your religions how will you ever get to know it so that you both can understand it. I know you understand your mothers religion as you were it befor turning muslim but i it might just be a big change for her. So give her some time and I sure she'll come around and accept that this is what you want. michelle :)

Well love is between two bodies, souls, they donot belong to religions, so why quarrel in name of religion, if the love is true 2 persons can live peacefully..
Thanks for sharing
Cheers. God bless you, have a nice day ahead.
