A man working in a Gulf country got engaged to his uncle's daughter, as was the tradition in their family. After the engagement he left to join his duty in Gulf. He decided that before marriage he should get tested for HIV. To his horror the test turned out to be positive. He told his prospective bride about it and his decision not to get married in life. The girl was very upset and told that whatever may be the disease she will marry him only because she can think of a life with nobody else. The matter was brought to the family elders who after a lot of confabulations decided the couple should get married. The man succumbed to pressure and got married. After the marriage he decided to undergo another HIV test before taking the drastic decision of abstinence. As if a joke the test result turned out to be negative. The couple is now leading a happy life with healthy off springs.
