Currently am still one of those hired workers who are getting just enough as the wage is not really that big... but as soon as I can get enough money to put up my own business, then I would surely leave working under some other managers behind and start being my own boss. I believe it feels great being your own boss and you can have your own time and all those stuffs.

If God allows me to, I would love to put up an apartment or dormitory here in the city with at least 10 rooms... but i know that would cost me a lot of money because I can have that business materialized... crossing my fingers for that though and working to make it happen soon... :P

ya my priority is my family, for I know that " no success can compensate for failure in the home"that'why I prefer to be self-employed and needs to be very industrious to reap a good reward, work like you never worked before so you will live a life that you never lived before, While on self-employed be frugal and don't eat your inventories so you can keep your business alive.

I already made my choice. I have my freedom and I love it. I would probably make more money working for someone else, but hey, freedom has its price too :)

I would prefer to be a hired worker than self-employed. I‘m not a risk taking kind of person and I just love the security that comes with being a hired worker. If you are a hired worker you are sure that you will get a regular monthly salary no matter what happens to the economy. If you are self employed, your monthly earnings will al depend on how well you did for the month and can very well be affected by the country’s economy.
Especially here in our country where the economy is not stable, so having a business or being self-employed is kind of a risky thing.
I know there are a lot of perks of being a self-employed. You are you’re own boss so you get to managed and handle your own time, you don’t answer to anybody but yourself which is a really good thing. But in spite of all this perks, I would rather be a hired employee with a regular monthly salary.

i used to be a hired worker and now i am self-employed. i enjoy this more, because i can work how much i want to. and i want to work lots lol. its a bit harder, because nothing is promised, but today with these short living times we have, a hired worker isnt safe too.

I wouldnt consider what i do "self employed" Although I do not have to work for anyone, i dont have a business either but i make a good amount of money.
Why trade your time for money? You need to think outside the box, whos rich and how did they do it? Working a nine to five sucks, and you will be living paycheck to paycheck your entire life. Owning some sort of business is better but still, your bound to it.
Why not think, investment, no investors, you invest. Why not try currency exchanges? thats my primary income and i could make much more from it if i put in more than 20 or 30 minutes a day. All you need to be able to do is learn a little, you can set automated buy sells up, cant be easier than that. My worst month was my first cuase a few bad choices yet it was still 3 grand usd.
Another is prfitable hobbies, I am into precious metal recovery, while that takes having the rite sources however it san example. You cant get the good stuff off the net, think local, ebay is the worst place.
You cannot make alot money with out, and it takes money to make money, all be it not alot if you explore the right routes.

I own a business, so am self employed and enjoy working for myself. Some big advantages are setting my own hours and no more looking at the clock, which means I get more work done quicker. This is great, if you can work for yourself, but in many occupations that can be quite difficult.

I would much rather be self employed. I have worked for so many people and it was okay, but my co-workers got on my nerves. I like to go to work and do my job and come home. I don't like going to work and be drove crazy by nosey co-workers who are just there to start trouble ro spread gossip around the building. They slack off on their work and expect everyone else to pick up where they left off. It got on my nerves and I am so glad to be home now earning online. It doesn't pay as well, but i am alot happier at home. I can also get things done here and that makes me very content.

Naturally it would be self-employed.. while would I want to suffer under the thumb of another? I much prefer the flexibility and autonomy. :P

I'd like to be a hired worker. I think it suits me better since I'd rather be directed than doing the directing. Of course, it could be fun if I'm a slef employed person but I think both would be suitable.
For example, I'm an accountant at some company, and also have a small business at home. Both could supply me with income and doing both could be fun too. Though it could be a bit tiring.
