Folders in Gmail

Hi friends, does anyone know there is an option in gmail to create a folder for example to keep friends mails in friends folder...if any one knows tell me...

we do not have Folders option in Gmail . But we can use Labels option to group the mails . pls check this option at Gmail help menu . Thru this option , we can easily group the mails .

^ we cannot say it is a defect as Labels is as effective as the Folders . Label can be considered as a different name for folder .

hello yespriya, till now i used labels and correspondingly set the filter to send the mails directly to that label. if i get the information of folder creation then let you know.

no it cant b done in gmail till i know that option is unavailable its only abailable in yahoo beta

why do you need that at all. gmail has its unique feature to monitor the communications between you and your friend already. The feature is extremely useful as appeared to me . What else or more do you want?
