wow... i like this anime and i didn't know that there was going to be a 2nd season... i hope they air it soon! i'm so excited now!!!

well we all are hopping to se a second season, they are rumors of the second sseason to be loaunched aroun actrover or at spring next year, becuse kyotoanymatiuon is currently airing LuckyStar, ther is a new type magazine that shows a image of haruhi sitting in a chair with a very long hair on his head that makes reference tyo another of the books in the series, also a teeser have been launched and can be found on you tube, is a live action one

i don't sure. but i heard this rumor i hope this rumor be true ^^, i like suzumiya haruhi

Its one of my favourites too! I don't know of any that are the same, though. I think it was a pretty unique anime- who on earth thought u episode 0?! pure genius I looked up any information I could find trying to find out whether there would be a second season, and found an interview with one of the producers who said that there definitely would not be. how upsetting!

One thing i can say about this anime is: Kyon-kun talks too much! Er, i should mean, thinks too much. Hahaha~ Well i guess that's what you get from watching "first person" anime. Not sure about the second season though. And it's actually the first time i've watched an anime with a story purely based on a person's perspective rather than just being the observer of the circumstances/story.
