I dno't believe they should be above the law. I f they feel they're tough enough to pick on people then they should be tough enough to deal with the consequences. Also the parents should have to be held responsible in some way too. The more they get away with these crimes, the more they will do as they get older. Over here, in Australia, a 12 year old girl didn't like how a intulectually disabled boy looked at her so she attacked him. She is currently facing the consequences for her actions, thank god for that!!

I don't think that parents should be held responsible. That's not fair. You CANNOT controll EVERYTHING a kid does once it is old enough to go away from you, for just one moment. Just think about it, you are grown now and how many things do you still not listen to your parents about. How many ways have you gone against your parents direction. A parent can be a good parent all day long and still come out with a kid like Ted Bundy. Also, if the parents should get busted for something a kid does...then so should the media, school, other people in the neighborhood, family, friends, EVERYBODY. I gotta tell you, my kids are being influenced by more than just me and there is nothing I can do about it..cause they live here in the world..on planet earth. I can't make them live inside a bubble.

I think kids R bad as all get out. I have 2 and LOVE mine equal 2 the size of the infinite universe, but I hate kids in general. I think that they know well they power they have and they use it. They should be prosecuted 4 serious crimes they committ against others. If a life has been lost, why should that go scott free? Isn't the victim's life important at all. Are we sending the message that depending on what age you are...your life is worth more than someone else?
