Who is your best friend? My best friend happens to be my husband! Our friendship runs as deep as our love for each other.
We can lay awake all night laughing at the silliest things. I would rather be with my husband than anyone else ever.
We do everything together and want to wholeheartedly.
So many people marry and grow apart. They may stay married one week or one hundred years and cant stand the person they are with.
I feel sorry for people like that. Why be together if you cant be best friends? When you grow old and all body functions are next to nil, wouldnt it be wonderful to spend your last years with someone you want to be with? Your best friend?

You are very lucky. I wish my father was still around. But I have so many precious memories of him to hold in my heart forever and pass on to my children.
I thank you very much for your response.

i think a best friend is quite a powerful word... i take it very seriously...
to answer your question.. my bestfriend is a friend from high school... we started our friendship full of challenges and for that we became good friends...
i think it is something different because we give each other the time that we needed.... we act mature about our relationship that is quite rare for our age... it ways go beyond boys and that stuff...

My best friend is my boyfriend. We share everything and can actually stand to live with each other, heh.
I had another best friend for about 3 years. But then I had my baby and they got weird. Which just proves they weren't that good of a friend.
Luckily my boyfriend was there to help me get over that and he gladly took over the role of being my best friend as well.
...Except for the shopping and hair stuff. That's where he draws the line, haha.
