Anyone has experience with timesharing??

I was in Atlantic City with my husband over the new year and came across two timeshare sellers. We ended up buying nothing but with one check of $50 and one dinner check at a restaurant we were heading to anyway. And this for listening to the salesmen for a total of 5 hours. Good deal for us who had ended up paying too much for the hotel so we saved some on that free dinner. We might go to Florida next time since so many people told us that it's the time share paradise, lol. Anyone have experience with this concept of time sharing?
