Do you think dogs/animals have guardian angels?

Last Monday, my little Parson Russell Terrier was hit by a UPS truck. My heart sank when I scooped her up out of the gutter, but after a thorough examination by the vet, she only had a few cuts and bruises. I truly believe this little rascal of ours has an angel protecting her and watching over her. She started life badly and was in four different abusive homes in the first six months of her life. She was rescued by a local no-kill organization and ultimately found her way into our home and our hearts. So, what do you think? Angels or not?
