I want it to be Saurav Ganguly, just because of the phenomenal comeback he has made. But, I think it is going to be Sachin Tendulkar given he usually peaks up for the showpiece events. Other's who can challenge these two are Rahul Dravid and Viru Sehwag if he finds his form.

There is a contest between sachin and sourav for the most successful batsman for this worldcup.But i cannot support ganguly so much because the selection of Ganguly in the 11 squad depends on the hands of the captain and the coach.If he has given chance he will be a better contester for the top batsman.Other than sourav and sachin,dhoni is having a chance.so 90%-sachin,80%--sourav and 60%--dhoni is my guess.

I feel Sachin tendulkar, the maste blaster will be the most successful Indian batsman in world cup 2007. As sachin is looking in good form and he is hungry to do well and get the world cup for India as it might be his last chance to world cup glory, i certainly would to see him play another world cup though. Besides he has the experience of doing well in one dayers esp. in world cups as he has top scorer in two previous world cups, so that certainly helps too.
More than individual performances, i feel team as a whole should do well that is more imp. i feel if we have to win the world cup.

The most successful player will be Irfan pathan both with the bat and the ball, after this world cup he will be the vice captain of the indian cricket team and will become captain in 2009. This is my prediction any opinion.

I think Sachin will be the best scoring batsman. But MS Dhoni
is also a great batsman and not to forget Saurav and Sehwag and Rahul Dravid. I think all of them could give Sachin a tough competition. Now, as long as India wins the cup, I don't give a damn (Sorry)!

This would be the tough question at this point of the time. And we see all the countries as one or the other best one proving themselves for this position. But I feel the best batsman in this world cup would be from India. Best of luck guys.

i think sachin would be the successful indian batsman in the world cup in carribeans but i would like if sehwag and ganguly also show their natural style of batting.

senior players will rock...saurav dravid and sachin....yuvraj also hav chances...but saurav will be the most sucessfull batsman of dis worldcup...bcos he is in good form....and all conditons are supporting him.....

i would like taht to be sehwag but feel that the entire team would flourish and blossom and be matchwinners...but definetly dhoni is on the cards...!!!

I think Sachin will not show upto the expectation.all matches are depended on the middle order. ganguly is in full form.further he is good in playing in other countries.
i think he has lot of chances to do well.other things will remain in the hands of the middle order.dravid however is dependable.
