Following from my hair dye post, would you ever consider wearing a brightly coloured wig ?
Some people have naturally fine hair, are going bald or have genetic troubles...making a toupe seem like a possible route for normal looking hair.
Some people are just wacky and try out wigs for effect.
What kind of person are you and would you wear a ridiculous wig out in the street for a laugh ?

I absolutely would!! I have pretty thick hair so in no way do i NEED a wig.... but i think it'd be fun:). When I was a teenager I dyed my hair all sorts of colors, but now i'm in my 20's and getting some grey hairs and haven't even touched anything up for a while. I sort of want a grey streak in the front.... i think it'd look cool. but i would love to have a pink or electic blue wig! or even a platinum blonde "marilyn" kind of wig. It'd be fun!

I've never worn one, so now I'm wondering the same thing :)

Certainly would for those viewing the creation. I dare so you might put a similar theme outfit with it too. Sounds like a lot of fun and fair play with the streak.
I've always wondered how wigs go over thick hair.

I went through chemo and was totally bald I mean I didn't have shave my legs or nothing LOL I didn't even have eyelashes or eyebrows. Yes I looked ridiculous LOL
My mom bought me a wig which was very nice of her I wore only on special occasions It was itchy as heck Specially on a warm day. Hated it
I bought a jokers hat. One with bells on the points LOL Well ok I made my boys buy it Hubby wouldn't let me LOL
Wore it everywhere I went One day at the mall with my hubby and parents Herb stated I am not going into the mall with you wearing that My Dad piped up and said he had been dying to wear it So he did My Dad was 70 at the time. Funny yes He looked more ridiculous than I did bald. LOL
Hate wigs But for Halloween one year I dyed my hair bright red. I was Pippi Longstockings When I reach 500 posts I can post it Oh wait I can add it to my profile LOL

Thanks Wendy, that's quite a heart warming story and BEST of luck with life from now on :)
Cancer is, of course another area where people may wear wigs.
Your Dad sounds great, quite the spirits lifter at the time :)

I am scared to go to a professional haircut place, because it seems once the ladies start gossiping, they don't pay as much attention to you or your haircut. The last time I went to get a haircut,I hear if you comb it back into a neat ponytail, and comb it straight again, you can cut the ends of your hair, and it will result in long layers.
