Take Home Chef

Yes, I have watched it a couple of times, it is an interesting show. Can you imagine coming home and seeing that guy in the kitchen with your wife? I keep thinking I would pretty mad if my wife was in our kitchen cooking with some guy, I guess the camaras and everything there would let me it was a show. LOL

I've just recently discovered this show and love watching it and getting recipe ideas from Curtis. The main reason I think it's one of the best cooking shows is that the chef usually uses everyday ingredients that you either already have in your pantry or can easily get in your grocery store. I like how uses ready made stuff like chicken or beef broth, rather than making it from scratch sometimes because it is more real-life cooking that I can apply to my own cooking style. Although I love watching Top Chef and Iron Chef America, I find Take Home Chef is more relatable to the average person who is either learning to cook or only does it occasionally. I think it's funny to see some of the women that Curtis picks up blatantly fawn and flirt with him. It's a little embarrassing. I do find the he usually does go up to the more attractive girls, but he has sometimes approached average women as well. I can understand why he would go to the more made up women, because if I was shopping around in a grocery store looking like something the cat dragged in, the last thing I'd want is to be caught looking like that on national tv.

I've seen it a few times on TLC - definitely a different take on cooking shows lol. Thing is, it doesn't seem to be on on any set time time in my area?? :(

I've watched it before I think it's really good I love the looks on the spouses faces. I'd like him to come here and come cook!!!! I watch a lot of the food network there is really a lot of good shows on rachel ray and paula dean r my two fav's thought with emeril coming in third

I LOVE Take Home Chef and Curtis is so cute. I would love for him to come and help teach me how to cook a meal. Something other than burgers and mac & cheese. Though it would probably cause my family to die of heart attacks. I really do love the show and try to watch it every time it's on.
