Loud neighbors

We just had this guy move in this weekend. I think he lives just by himself but I am not sure. Anyways he saw me with the baby the other day so why in the world would he think it's okay to blast his music at 9:30?? Granted that's not really late but we have a baby. I mean he was playing his music so loud that it was shaking the walls. I tried to knock on his door to ask him to keep it down but it was so loud he couldn't even hear me knocking. I had to call the landlord and have him call him. Have any of you had an experience like this with your neighbors?

No, not yet LOL but our neighbour above us has hardwood flooring and you can hear him walking all around his home. It's annoyng, especially at night when your watching tele or trying to get to sleep. I suppose thats what happens when you live in an apartment/condos.
