Yes, when I was preggers with my first one, i couldn't stand meat, which was unfortunate seeing how I worked in a meat department. (: My boy came out healthy and big (10 pounds 14 ounces), and it didn't affect him at all, just eat what you can, and don't eat what makes you sick (you'll problably just end up throwing it up if you do anyways). Good luck and congrats!

I went through this, having a difficult eating or cooking meats! I drink soy milk and make smoothies with strawberries, bananas and peanut butter every morning, this helps with the protein. After a few weeks you may feel like eating meats again!

Sometimes being pregnant makes you hungry for weird things and dislike the foods that were previously your favorite. Don't worry if you don't feel like eating meat for a while. There are plenty of other ways to get protein in your diet. Yogurt is a good source and also has lots of calcium. Cheese is another thing you could try but watch out for constipation!

Don't worry. You can always ask the nutrionist as to how to cope with your cravings and needs during pregnancy. Besides, they now have formulated milk for pregnant women. I have heard that these milks are really perfect drinks for preggies. Try one.

I have had two kids and I don't care for meat very often and I did just fine eating peanut putter, my doctor would check my iron levels are they are always high (then and now), and I know it isn't from meat so I guess the peanut butter is pretty good =) I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as you are eating healthy and not junk food! Congrats on the pregnancy!!!
