Container gardening is great for all plants such as tomatos and peppers. Domething many people overlook is the plants that are the wide variety and fit in the window sill. They are great for planting lettuce in. Many people have a salad garden. They plant all the things that they would use in a salad in containers.

Any bush beans will grow in containers. I like the yellow wax beans. Strawberries are often sold in hanging pots. You might try onions, as they have shallow roots.

I've grown carrots in 2 ltr pop bottles old dustbins are great for potoates
