How hard is it to be a call center supervisor?

my first year as a call center i worked for was really a meery-go-round, wanna-find-a-corner-and-cry experience! i was given 16 direct reports 2 days i was given an offer letter, and with no supe-training, and no instructions from TM's except for "Go and make them perform!", my fresh graduates and I worked our butts off just to make things happen! How'r yours?
