How many hours of sleep do you get every night?

I average around 7, though some nights as low as 4, and others as high as 10. If I could get 8-9 every single night, that would be perfect.

Man do I suffer from lack of sleep when I don't get enough. I can't take sleep aids either because they don't help when I can't sleep. My friend wears a sleep mask and says that helps, but I've never tried one.
When I have good baby sleep, I need about 8 hours or I'm tired all day.
Tons of people suffer from sleep disorders, like sleep apnea, which keeps them from getting enough sleep. Sleep deprivation causes many accidents on the road.
I guess we all have sleep problems from time to time which prevent us from getting enough sleep.

I usually make it a point that I get at least seven hours' sleep everyday. I think, eight hours would be ideal, but my lifestyle does not allow me that one extra housr. In my next years' agenda, I will keep it as a priority though, since I may switch my job for a better one.

I have to have 9, any less and I'm like a bear with a sore head. I usually go to bed at midnight and I'm up at 9am or sometimes later. I get very grouchy and irritable if I don't have my nine hours. Certainly not 4, couldn't survive on that amount. I'd need gallons of black coffee and matchsticks!

I seem to average about 6 hours and if I start to get tired during the week I take a bit of a sleep during the day and that seems to be enough to see me through for another week or so.

I usually get around 6.5-7 which is sad because I really want to get 8 hours a night. I also heard that you feel more rested if you sleep in even hour increments because you are less likely to be woken up in the middle of your sleep cycle. (Even if you slept 10 hours, you will still feel tired if the alarm wakes you up in the middle of your REM cycle.)
