What tasks usually make you feel bored? For me, I am usually bored when I'm making something which I think is useless, or a waste of time. It's really not easy for me to say, "This is boring", but sometimes I just give up. Here's some of what may drive me to boredom:
- Shaving my beard: It takes a lot of time, and it's boring as hell. That's why I only do it once a week.
- Searching for a useful discussion on myLot: It's more boring than shaving, and the outcome is not guaranteed (unlike shaving).
- Waiting for something: I really hate waiting, especially when I can do nothing about it.
There are some other things, but those mentioned contribute to much of the boredom that I feel lately. What about you???

Hello cerium .
I get extremely bored when I find myself with people who discuss stuff Im not interested in , especially if Im supposed to participate in the conversation . This occurs especially during social occasions and with relatives (people you have absolutely nothing in common with except for genes)

My greatest source of boredom is when I have to assist to some social events with many people, like for instance be invited from people of my work, or from people I know but I do not have any close relationship with them. I usually spend my time drinking incredible quantities of coffee (impossible to sleep, later :), sending sms to my friends, engaging myself in some awkward and boring discussions, giving typical and polite answers to typical and polite questions, etc.
Mylot is generally boring me enough, too, so I do not connect too often, and sometimes I just scan some discussions but do not participate.
I find boring, once I have finished a task to check back to see if I 've done everything right (and, unfortunately, I really have to do this one)
And I find boring to meeting new people and having to answer to all the questions of the type "where are you from?", "what are you doing in your life?" and such

I can see that. I also get bored when I am stuck with people that I don't know very well. As for myLot, I really feel the same (although I often connect, but don't participate). However, I have to say that I really do like your answers.
Thanks for the response.

Well, I usually get bored if the task is too repetitive.
In my work, I sometimes have to encode data that are all the same and it gets boring after a while.
Oh, and listening to a lecture that is not one bit interesting is also boring. I have teachers that are like that.

The last time I remember being bored was when I was in science class. I hated science as a subject in school.i didn't get it and it was a waist of time.
