Seperation Anxiety in Sibes

My 6 year old Siberian Husky has recently started developing symptoms of severe seperation anxiety. She's digging up and urinating on carpets, digging through doors and walls, tearing up clothing and generally just being destructive.
She used to be a showdog, so initially I just thought she was bored now that she's retired but taking her to obedience and agility classes isn't helping. She just goes nuts when I leave.
Anyone else ever have a similar problem with their Sibe?

My female Husky is only 3 years old but does have some seperation anxiety when our other female German Shepard mix isn't there. If for some reason one has to leave the house and the other can't see them then it's turn nutty in the house. There's crying, whining, scratching at door, etc. Now, if one of us leave the house, the Husky doesn't seem to mind. Go figure..Huskies are pack animals and apparently want to be with other dogs.

My girl's a weird one though.. I used to have a male Sibe, too -- her nephew, but she still acted wacky and to boot, used to beat him up pretty badly. I ended up placing him in a great home where he's spoiled, but her.. she's driving my wacko.

I'm sorry to hear that. Has the vet said anything that could possibly be a reason for it? The only other thing I know to do would be one of those pheromone kits but I'm not sure if it would work on older dogs. I hope everything works out for you. I know how hard it is to make the decision to let someone else have the dog. Good Luck!
