Do you say hello to your plants? How do you feel?

Every morning and evening when I'm watering my plants I talk to them as if they were my partners. It looks insane, doesn't it? But I do. And it seems they say hello to me with it's dewy green leafs or it's bloosom flowers. Various feelings come to express when I find them growing better or the opposite. Relationship between my plants and I makes me feel good. My garden is lively. They are ready to accompany me to go my life.

LOL, No your not crazy, I even call my plants 'my babies' I think its because we work so hard to get them to live, that they essentual are your babies, they are dependant on you for survival and in that respect a close bond and attachment are formed :-). What kind of flowers do you like to put in your garden most?

Dear ForbiddenBeauty, I like chrysantemum, adenium, euphorbia, anthurium, and many others. I have a wonderful expirience especially with the growing of my anthurium seeds. I like it's strong roots and thick-green-leafs. I have many of it.

I read in an article once before that it is actually healthy for plants for humans to talk to them.

If pet owners can talk to their pets, you are entitled to talk to your plants. If it makes you feel good, it's probably a great stress reliever. When they start talking back, THEN you gotta worry, lol. ;)

Hi, yes, I talk to my plants. I say to the spider plant: "would you like to go outside onto the porch to get some extra sun???" I read somewhere a long time back that plants actually grow better if people talk to them. I dont care if people hear me talking to my plants. I love my plants. AND they grow better for me than for my friends, he he...

I have hundreds of plants & do not talk to them. To each his own.
However I do say & believe that when you plant a seed you will it to grow.
Never plant a seed & hope it grows. When you hope it is negative energy. When you will it to grow it is positive and creates a symbiotic relationship.

I do talk to my plants too. I would even give them a pat and say nice things to them. I would even sometimes pour out my miseries to them. It's as if they understand you. I love my plants though I may not have plenty. They just make me feel happy to see them all green and beautiful!!
