For Everything absolutely everything, above and below , visible and invisible, everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him. Colosians 1;16
I will write my 40 day journey with the Purpose driven life and the notes that have touched me. I want to share it with you.
Day 1 It all starts with God
* The search for the purpose of life has puzzled people for thousands of years. That's typically because we begin at the wrong starting point- ourselves.
* Focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life's purpose, " It is God who directs the lives of His creatures; evryone's life is in His power." Job 12:10
* "Obession with self in these matters is a dead end, attention to God leads us into the open, into a spacious free life." Romans 8:6
* "self help is not help at all, Self sacrifice is the way, my way, may way to finding yourself, your true self." matthew 6:25
Reflection:
I can remind myself by rememebring the nail which tore the hands and the feet of Christ. A constant reminder that though i'm a sinner, I matter to someone_ i matter to Jesus. The nail serves as an eye opener that despite my hurts and my pains I was loved by someone- Jesus. He died for me. I have realized that this life is not about me but to serve for a purpose- for the glory of God. Often times, we live lufe as if we own it, not giving credit to the one who should be worthy of it. And often times I get too engrossed with my own business. it is my prayer that in time I will the purpose that he really wanted for my life, that someday I will be able to share this life with people who needs it rather than for myself alone.

Yes, we are so loved! Jesus loves us so much. We can depend on Him when things seem hopeless. He never fails us!
God bless you!
