hmmm...i'm just wondering how did you choose the discusion you're going to respond here in mylot...
Personally, i choose my discussion that im going to respond in "Discussions my friends started"...for me it's my way of showing that i'm reallly sincere being friend with him/her...It's a way of keeping in touch to one another....
how about you??? how did you choose and why????

I usually start out in Discussions my friends started. I do this because I know most of my friends are pretty good at discussing things and will respond to my posts. If I do not see anything of interest to post to, I go to the new discussion and post there. I usually shy away from discussions with about 20 or most posts to it. Just because I think, my post will get lost in the others.

I do the same as you, by having:
http://www.mylot.com/nr/friendsdiscussions.aspx
as a bookmark. Being that I'm the only user of my computer, I don't log out, & I therefore get taken to discussions started by my friends. It's also the same reason as yours.
If I still have time to surf more, I look discussions from my interests. There is almost always several that catch my eye as something that I can or would like to respond to. Unless it is a discussion I missed that was started by someone in my friends list, or if it is REALLY compelling, I usually won't respond when someone is idiotic enough to pick someonme's response as the best respoonse too soon. Always wait maybe 2 weeks to a month, at LEAST.
I also go through discussions I started & someones reply to responses, or maybe even discussions I responded to & maybe reply to someone's reply. From there, after responding to discussions from my interests, it varies on what I do next.
You can get more ideas from:

I had started that because I was somewhat at a loss, but what I had done there in my discussion starter has changed, as you can tell.

I always start my mylot day with answering my discussions and then go onto my friends discussions and answer a few of those. Then I pick one friend and answer a heap of their discussions. If I have any time left after this I fgo to discussions from my interests and pick an interest for the day. (Todays being mylot)

I've kind of developed a routine here on mylot lol, I start by logging in and seeing if there is any new messages or friends requests which is really easy just look at the top of the page lol, then I check discussions my friends started and look through those to see whats new and what I could reply to or what really catches my eye, then I progress to discussions Ive stared to see if theres any comments on there I would like to reply to, then I would go to discussions ive responded to to see if anyone has responded to my comments that we could actually discuss something over, lol and finally I sort of "wander aimlessly" through top discussions, new discussions, and my interests to see if theres anything new I would like to reply to or something that catches my attention
lol what can I say, I like routine

I also respond to "Discussions my friends started", and I go for "Discussions with no response", as that's a good way to get in early on a discussion.
