How do you find out what is going on? News, Events, etc.

So how do you keep up to date on news and events? Do you read the newspaper, listen to the news or wait until someone tells you what's going on?
I tend to do all of the above, but watching the news is usually how I find out what is going on locally and globally.

I try to read at least one newspaper a day, watch the local and national news on tv, catch headlines on line, and listen to news on the radio.
