HEY CELEBS: Just because you have all the money in the world, is NO reason to spend $4000 on a damn purse for crying out loud. I can buy the same thing at WalMart for $10. Nobody really cares "WHO your wearing or carrying". The money you spend on a handbag could be used to save 3000 starving little kids. This is totally asinine to me that people would put more value on a stupid purse than they would the well being of others...grr.. (Hey Paris, your valtrex would fit in a Walmart purse too..lol) It makes me sick to think that people are this ignorant. Gives all of us Americans a bad name. We are NOT all so self-centered, Egotistical bast*rds..But the good ole' boys dont make headlines though huh? I think the next time the celebs get the urge to spend lots of money...they should go to the Supermarket, and deliver a bag of groceries to a single mom with 3 kids... God doesnt give a rats a** what kind of purse your carrying when you die...but your heart is another matter?? Does this frustrate anyone else??

Your post makes me laugh so loud. Isn't it good mylot discussions always make me laugh... good for my health. But I am digressing from the topic.
I was laughing because I can relate to your "grievances." This celebrities are just so materialistic and signature hungry. I guess it adds up to their social and economic standing. There's this local Filipino celebrity who lost her Balenciaga bag worth $5,000! Wow! what can you say? I already mentally calculated what I can do with $5,000. They even brag about their Manolo Blahnik shoes, Louis Vuitton bags, etc. etc. that costs a fortune to us lesser mortals. LOL. We cannot do anything about this but to wonder what is going on with these people, spending so much with something that can feed or help a lot of starving families. You are right they are just feeding their egos not their hearts.

Not at all sour-graping, I am a Promotional Model and do quite well at it, So I am not hurting by any means, but I also am not one who would stay that rich for long. lol I have such a big heart that I cant help but give to EVERYONE who needs it whether it be people or animals. The more money I made the more I would be giving away. I didnt mean to come across that I was bitter about my own life, but more so bitter to the ones who could do so much for so many but dont. (I had been watching E! TV and they were talking about purses..lol) I may not be "rich" but I have dinner on the table, a roof over my head and sleep in a warm bed at night. That is rich to me. I just know if I had more....I would be able to help more and that is where true fulfillment is found.

this is an old post but the content is so interesting to me. I don't know if the poster could ever still see my response but I'd like to make a comment just the same. Yes, God will not even care what kind of purse you are carrying when you die...but your heart will matter most. Yes it also does frustrate me to see the rich and the famous buying expensive bags for themselves. What's in a very expensive handbag? It is nothing but an expression of being vain, selfishness and pride. Of course those people buying this bag can always say, I work hard for this and I deserve to make myself happy but actually it is not just making oneself happy but making other people look at them with envy. It is making themselves on top of the others. This is plain and simple pride. There are so many people starving around. Many people are dying without even finding their way to the hospital because they have no money. Many kids can't even go to school because their parents can't afford to send them to school and here is one person so rich and so famous with lots of Hermes bags on her closet. What if she donated the money to the poor, would it not bless the heart of many even more?

I think its sad that they are more worried about appearance then helping normal, every day ppl out. I also think its stupid to pay a baseball player a million dollars to play a game. How many ppl do you know go to work and make a million dollars for a paycheck. It's stupid....
