What do you plan to do with all of that research?

I have spent almost 40 years researching genealogy for my family. I am so good at it, I've even been asked to help others with their family tree. After all the years of researching, finding documentation, scanning pictures and sending inquiries, what are you going to do with your work? Are you going to write a genealogy book? If you write a book are you going to publish it?

wow that's great, 40 years!Well I am doing my research to know more about our ancestors and to discover more of our family, I thought we were the only one who has our surnames. well, if I can make it i'd like also to have a genealogy book, given the chance yes I will pulish it for the benefit of those researching and to track more relatives.linking my generation is our happiness too, without them we are nothing. you know what after discovering something from my ancestors, like thay are so industrious, that gives me more desire to know an imitate them, now if it is negative or failure, mine is to improve and avoid their failures. I love my ancestors so much.

Research is an awesome thing hersheygucci. If you need help, all you have to do is ask me. It's what I love to do. Researching our ancestors helps us know ourselves a bit better, don't you think?

As you live in the Phillipines, I don't know if I would have much access to records there. I do most of my research in the US. It's easy to learn how to do the research. If your family is from the US send me a message and I can tell more if I could help you or not. Send me a message anyway, and I can give you tips of how to research your family where you are.

I dont have as many years as you have done on your genealogy..Only been doing mine about 11 years.. I will leave my side of the family to my nieces and nephews.. And they can do what they want with it... I dont think it will contuine on after I am gone.. But they may surprise me..And my husband's side to his children. I have big block walls that I havent been able got block down.. On mine and my husband's side of the family.. Its hard when documents were burned during all those different wars. But I do enjoy doing it..

All of your hard work is a great legacy to leave to your family later on. I can help you with your brick walls if you want me to. Just email me at bigspringhistory@aol.com or leave me message here and we can work out the details. I have ways of making those burned documents appear.....

I am shaking my family tree, mainly for my own amusement. My kids also want to know where they came from. There are some interesting stories out there. I figure my kids can add to it and hand it down to their kids.

I've told my family and anyone else who will listen that after I am gone, if noone in the family wants to be "keeper of the keys" so to speak, it is to be donated to the local library. They can to with it what they will. Second choice would be the local Historical Society.
