Right now I have internet explorer and my java script just stopped working so my question is if I switch over to firefox will it work in there? When I want to see videos or something that requires active x or java script I have to go on opera web browser. Is it easy to switch over to firefox and do I have to uninstall internet explorer? I use opera only as a back-up when I want to watch youtube or something because my internet explorer doesn't work but it's a pain. Will my yahoo tool bar and stuff have to be uploaded back on to my browser once I switch also. Thanks for all your help!!

sure its easy. personally i prefer Firefox, tab browsing, i find it faster too.
you dont have to uninstall anything to use Firefox. in fact (if im recalling correctly) i think it will import your bookmarks from IE to itself. (not positive of that though)
just in case you really like IE...have you tried downloading the latest version of Java? if not here is the link in case you're interested.

Thank you for your tips. I have tried over and over again downloading the newest version of java. I have even called dell for help and they couldn't get it to work so that's when they told me to get opera and install it. Opera work's fine but it's not something I want for my primary web browser, I use it as a back up if I want to watch youtube or something I go into opera. My son's java works fine and we share the same computer so I'm confused about that. Well thanks again!
