Battlestar Galactica

I don't think its feasible to compare 2 shows almost thirty years apart just because they have the same title... each has been responsive to its time. As I watch the 'new' Galactica and its re-runs whenever I can find them, I wish they had named it something different! The cast and the storyline would have carried it through without the gimmick of the name!!And now I hear its going to end--- I'm afraid that the writers, producer, etc, may be too limited in their vision, and didn't expect the show to succeed as it has... it seems they have tried at every turn to damage the show, especially by moving it to Sunday nights! Its such a shame that we can't keep television fare elevated to this level!!

i first saw battlestar galactica the season from '78..i was surprised.....veery very cool special effects , and they were made in '78 , it's almost 30 years from then...now i am watching the season two on AXN Sci-fi and i like it very much.I read somewhere that they are making a game too...i saw a trailer and i was very impressed...and there are very much battlestar galactica add-ons for games...for example for home world 2 , and space mmorpg , i played an add-on for freespace 2 and i liked it very much....lots of action there...and know i am playing freelancer with they discovery mod , and many ships from there are from battlestar galactica , i usually play with a colonial viper , and when i have a war online i play with the galactica , of course...it's almost moving but has lost of cannons...if you are a big battlestar galactica fan i suggest playing this games....they raise you adrenaline.... Keep it cool ;)
