Work for Welfare?

I think that if someone is on welfare solely because of financial problems, there should be some kind of work they can do for it. There are far too many people who depend on welfare when they could legitimately get a job.
However, if a person is ill or disabled, I don't think they should be made to work for welfare. I mean, the whole reason they're on welfare is because they can no longer work. *shrugs*
I think the major thing that could be done to clear up all the welfare cases out there is education. I think if you're on welfare you should get money-managment courses, and you should get some kind of vocational training for free.

Thanks for your post lecanis, I agree with you. No disabled person(s) should be forced to work when they are on welfare.
And education is definitely the key to keeping the system clean.
