Have you ever been so lost, you wondered if you'd ever see home again?

I don't remember ever getting lost in the woods. But then again I don't go hiking that much :) However I think you can probably find your way out according to the position of the sun or the moss on trees. I think that the best thing is to choose your direction wisely and then keep it, in the end you've gotta get out of the forest or wherever it was that you were lost. But these are only my thoughts, I don't know how much they do apply in real life :) Especially when we're talking about large spaces.
