For those of you who knew, I was sick with the flu. I feel so much better now. Thanks to all for the well wishes. Sadly hubby is getting sick now. Now I have to get motivated around the house, my son is having his birthday party this weekend. We rented a "fun bus" it's a "tricked" out bus where kids tumble,and stuff. After the kids come in the house for cake and goodies, we also rented a cotton candy machine. Should be fun. What birthday parties have you done for your kids?

For my first son, since his birthday is on May, and its the time where we start getting warm weather here in Germany. We always rented a Gazebo right next to a huge playground in our housing area. We bbq, do games and we let me them run around the playground and then we give out gift bags before they leave.

Really rushed this morning but wanted to say I'm so glad you are feeling better. I'm sure your son will have a wonderful birthday and hope your husband feels better soon. Afraid most of our birthdays aren't that "exciting" although for my oldest grandson's 7th birthday my son and daughter-in-law went all out and had the party at a riding stable. Austin was into the "cowboy" thing so it was wonderful. Had lunch, cake, and treats and the kids all got to ride on horses - they loved it.

Welcome you are back again! Quite sometimes ago I had celebrated my son's first year birthday. I invited many kids of the same age to my house. We really had happy hours in the celebration. Parents invited were chatting happily while kids were busy with their food and toys.
