Forms of payment

I have noticed that most places that allow a person to make money online pay with E-Gold or Paypal. I do make money from one place that pays by check, and I have received a payment from them. I guess I took a chance on them.
But my question to you is, if places online offer to pay you by check, is this something to be leery about? I ask this because I'm finding several of these places, and I'm not sure if I should try lisking it again. I have had success with one company, but as I said before, so many people usually pay with E-Gold or Paypal. What are your opinions on this? Have you had any experience with it?

Actually, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. Haha :P
Since the amount is likely not too big, I guess it is ok to take my chance. If they cheat me for the first month, that's the most I lose. 1 month.. I think I can stomach that - though I would definitely yell and scream for days lol.

Thanks for responding. I just thought that I would see what others thought. I have tried it in the past. And I have received payment, but they also have a very low [payout. I don't blame you, I would yell too!!
