How do you solve family conflicts?

We basically ignore the problem until it goes away... Not really healthy eh? But it works for us.

If it is within my home, we sit down and talk about it before it happens if we can. Sometimes it is too late to discuss it and we have to deal with it after it happens. We try to work things out to keep things running smoothly and in the right direction. On the other hand, with my family outside of my home, I have tried to do some talking alos and I didn't get anywhere with it. I have pretty much washed my hands of it and I have just accepted that we are never going to get along because they won't accept me for who I am and they always want me to be like them and do what they are doing. I chose to just stay away and live my own life and do what I want to do now.
