Have you ever found out.......

Unfortantly yes there have been a few occasions in my life this has happened. I always ended up wishing I had not found out. Once it happened with a very good friend of mine. I struggled with it to the point that I almost lost the friendship. I finally just told her I knew we ended up have a very good cry and she explained herself, the circumstances the stress she was under and voiced her agony of guilt she felt for it having happened. After that it was easy for me to forget and look over. For people I don't know so well that is usually the end of the relationship.

Yes, I must admit that I have. Depending on what the secret is, and I know it's none of my business, but I can't help but change my views of that person especially if I hold them in high regard (hope that makes sense). I know we are not perfect, and we do stumble along the way, and when it does happen, I initially become standoffish and view that person and their situation negatively. I know I shouldn't but I do. In time, I just forget about it and carry on as if nothing happened. I really shouldn't be judging them at all!!!!

This happened to me more than once, but I remember one time in particular. I was still in high school and this senior started talking to me. I was so thrilled, she seemed like a nice person. We talked for an hour and then she gave me her phone number so I could call her and then maybe go out. When I told my friends, they told me that she had been arrested for possession of heroin. I confronted her about it and she confirmed it. I stopped talking to her after that...

This many times happen to me. I often hear about their secret in couples relationship that they tell us with trustworthy.

this is very difficult, especially when that person is a family member. i recently found out quite a few things about a few family members, and I can't help but think of them in a different light now. I still love them very much, they are of course my family. But I still have these thoughts in my head, because I have a different view on the situations. It has been troubling me very much lately.

Yes I have found out many secrets about many people and some did not change the way I saw them and some did. I think that it is dependent upon how serious the secret is and who the person is.
