Why do BAD things happen to good people?

Well it is easy to say, if you are good to counter balance your goodness , the universe creates you bad problems. This same thing goes the other way too when you are bad the universe balances you by creating good things. Or so i have heard. Maybe it is not totaly false :)

This is just a proof that life is very unpredictable, we cannot be always sure of what or where we'll end up. That we cannot get hold of our own destiny, all we can do is try to solve things out and hope that it works for our own good. Just pray to Him and hope that we can muster everything that He gives to us, amy it be bad or good..

Hey catcai - I know exactly what you mean and I know it can be totally mystifying and bewildering. Think that bad things sometimes happen to good people and hekp them to lear and grow and yes sometimes bad people get away with good things but things will catch up with them sooner or later and they will always be looking over theier shoulder! In the end their is an old saying "what's for you won't go by you" or lossely translated "what goes around comes around".

We cannot control what others do to us .. although we can definitely control what we do .. so as long as we can we must keep doing good .. someday or the other people would realise this goodness and you may get the best experiences back .. there are bad things happening around us and we cannot expect every thing to be just perfect to us jus cos we are doing everything good .. bad happens to us to make us realise the worth of being good .. To dream of having an ideal world where everything is good is something too farfetched .. bad is bound to be there .. its better we learn ro face them with all our might .. or we are bound to get depressed .. lifes like that .. full of surprises both good and bad .. doesnt matter if you are good or bad .. life will give you the taste of both .. so might as well enjoy what comes by .. The rain falls on the good and the bad people. I think bad people maybe have more bad luck than the rest of us because they are going the wrong way. Yes, I know exactly what you mean when you say you are a good wife and then your husband cheats on you. I have been through that for sure. Kind and unkind people fall ill, regardless of their orientation.

im not sure what the go is, but it always happens, and its always to the best of people that i know. why do these people deserve things like this etc. which it would change and kick the bad people in the butt for once.

No one really gets by with doing evil. Those who have committed crimes who have not been caught in this life will certainly pay for it in the next! There is a Judgement Day and God will be the Final Judge. Also, God will more than make up for those who seem to suffer unjustly in this world.

I think you're looking at things a bit too black and white. Good and bad things happen to everyone. It's like a 50:50 chance. It doesn't matter how a person behaves, it just is what it is. I think it's more even than perhaps you're making it sound. This seems more apparent because people seem to think that good people DESERVE good things and bad people DESERVE bad things. And that's not really our place to say. If we're good people only to get good stuff or good karma, then there is something morally wrong right there. We shouldn't be good people for selfish reasons. I think that right there makes a person less "good" than they think they are. Think of it this way, if there were no laws, no consequences, and no hell, how many good people would be left in the world? How many people are "good" for fear of the consequences? It's kind of scary to think about.

It has alot to do with the LOA-- Law of Attraction. When good things happen to 'bad' people the one assuming the person having something good happen to them is bad, might be the problem. Thinking positive attracts positive, so a 'bad' person who thinks good things gets good things or not so good things. I don't think being either, bad or good, discounts or adds joys or sorrows to your life. It is all about balance, the necessary evils required to be performed so a necesssary good can be done in its place. And just out of curiosity, why do you feel a woman serves her husband ? When did slavery make its way into wedding vows ?

its like oppsite poles attract each other. BAD things happen to GOOD people. and GOOD things happen to BAD people.

umm i don really know but i think wen good things hapen to bad ppl it makes em bad and wen bad things happen to good ppl it makes em good... i mean the good person is always the good1 if he bears things like a person who bears ppl taunting him and sayin nothin that makes him good right while a bad person enjoys,due to the unfair adv he has taken which is rewardin him the thing is the wicked things come in front of ur eyes but the good things dont ... idk but good things are meant to be hidden its the worlds cycle nobuddy canc hange it

the bad and the good things happen to everyone in this world,it does not matter you are bad girl or good girl,for the example,in your life,i know,i guarantee that sometimes you get the bad things and the another times you got the good things,and why the bad guy got the good thing and the good guy get the bad thing,it's because people like to expose it,they do not expose the good guy get the good thing eand the bad guy get the bad thing,everyone believe that if he do the good thing,so he can get the good thing.ok,i really agree with that statement,but that's just a statement that peolpe made for make you and me do the good thing to get the good thing.but everything was planned by God.The God always fair

BAD THINGS happen to people not because they are bad or they are good. bad things even happen to bad people and i think things do happen because it was made to happen by some greater being.

It's life or rather it's the result of original sin. You see, the devil brought sin into the world and he HATES good people and would like to see bad things happen to them because the devil is evil. That's why bad people have children and a good man and woman cannot have any. That's why evil rich men can get away with murder, and swindle little old ladies out of their life's savings. That's why I cannot have children except through adoption. But actually we are all bad, but some are badder than others, and we only have to wait until they get what they deserve. Unfortunately it may not be in their lifetime.

There just too many cases. Its really frustrating sometimes when you see a good person get into a lot of bad stuff. But some times that's just life I think. There always is a balance between good and bad. If all good people got good things, who in the right mind will want to be bad.
