I don't understand this..... for the past, like say, 5 days, my rating has been increasing by 20 or 25.... but my star rating is still at 5....whyI mean i got a 4 star when I was at 120.... a 5 star when I was at 145....and now when i am at 337...i still have a 5 star only....why is it not going up.....
I am not that bad member of mylot....peoiple have mared me best responses....and I have so many of my friends too psoting me replies and becoming my friends....!!!!PLease tell...

Your rating and your Star rating are totally seperate values. The rating number shown in brackets next to your username relates to the number of posts that you have made. The Star rating is assessed by the number of members that have awarded you a positive or negative rating and is intended to reflect the members' opinion of your posts. In many cases the Star rating is not a good indication because it is luck of the draw who sees your post and who rates it.

I hope that your star rating improves, but as I have said it is not that important. I have no idea how much activity is required to change the rating. My star rating has never moved in either direction since it was introduced, so I consider myself rather fortunate.

hey hi, well freind, your star rating not gonna increase with your posts here, it all depends on how other users on mylot mark you, how they rate your posting here on discussions, infact keep doing good work very soon you will reach to ratimng 10, best luck there and happy earning!!!

I am sure it will go up in time..where do you view the ratings? Because I am here one omonth now and still can't see the numerical number of the ratings? Am I blind or something lol? I will rate you plus at least..that should help!

It all goes on how people rate you. It changes by the day.
If you receive a lot of negatives for the day, your rating will go down, where if you get a lot of positives, your rating will go up. Just keep posting very good quality and you should keep going up. I hope that this helps you!!

yup i know that,... though i have this pre mind set that i wudnt have so mnay '-'s... lets see if i assume a better positio in future..
