Border Collies

Anyone out there who has been in the company of a border collie has a story to tell. Speak up!!!

oh i have one! she can be quite a sneak! her name is benni. when she was young, we kept her and her plott-hound buddy in an enclosure with six-foot high fences. we would find her outside ALL the time! she wasn't digging out and there were no spaces she could squeeze out from, so we were perplexed. we put a camera out to see how she was escaping...she was CLIMBING the fence!

I know the feeling!! I've had the same problem before! I've never come across animals that are so intelligent. It's mind blowing!

i agree! benni has been surprising us for about 15 years. poor thing is getting old now. her eyes are glassy. she has arthritis. she doesn't hear very well anymore.

Not only are they intelligent, they are also lively. My Poppy is thirteen years old, I think, but that doesn't stop her racing about. I can be watching TV and she'll come over with this tatty rubber bone as if to say 'Playtime, Daddy'.We have a big garden so we play fetch with her. She runs round like a puppy. When me and my fiancee are play-fighting it sends her mad and excited. She has slowed down a little lately but I think she'll outlive our other Border Collie we had, Patch. Who lived til he was seventeen. She's very loving but timid. We've had some happy times with her as well as the other dogs. I'm sure that we'll have a few more years of fun out of her yet.

I like Bordercollies very much and they are very cute to see.I Brought one Border collie and i love them very much.Everyday i take care about them.Bordercollie is similar to Dogs but it dislikes dogs.I watch usually in TV more types of dogs.Whenever i went outside i will keep them in a safe place.
