Cricket started some 150 years ago with lots of time consuming but now to make it more popular and rich cricketers started making it more interesting by introducing 20-20 version which is really interesting and fast. Now this would get attention world wide.

tha 20-20 version of cricket is not good becoz in this kind of match u won't get good classical shots every one only play to make runs any how...i m not saying that in normal matches players don't bother to makes runs...but the quality of match goes down so i don't like it....but it is my personel feeling n i m not emposing to any one....

20-20 is a commercialised version of the game for quick fast results and involves less talent and planning than the regular game. Its never like the real game. Hope it doesnt become too popular - its more about bashing the ball up than actually playing cricket!

Its amazing the 20/20 version of the game. You get results in short span of time. You do not have to wait for hours or even days to know the result. It is not boring like test matches or other 3/4 day domestic matches. It is tough to play 20/20, because your skills are tested here. You need to be skillful in bowling, batting and even fielding. But pure form of the cricket remains the test cricket which has its own charm and quality. By introducing 20/20 qality is compromised. Because you will not see players playing conventional shots. Rather you'd see them coming up with different type of slogging shots, bashing. Bowlers have very little chance to defend as pitches are not so helping. Its all about power hitting and entertaining crowd.
