Today I had achieved my 500 posts and I intend to change my avatar. Is it necessary for me to do so? I need your suggestions. Your kindness will be very much appreciated.

congratulations that you reached the 500 posts...i like the avatar that you have right now...but this is purely up to you...does that flower represent you? or do you like seeing the flower everytime you login to mylot? you gotta decide what makes you happy on this...

You are very much welcome, joi. Thanks for appreciating my current avatar. Earlier I was fond of changing my avatar after I had completed every 500 posts. I have never changed my avatar since using this present one after reaching the 2000th post. Red is the conspicuous color and the flower is big enough as well for me to distinguish it among others. Hi joi, you do have an avatar with an adorable little mouse. I find it is an interesting and vigorously animated cartoon in your profile.

Hello dear lkbooi. Your avatar is already very beautiful. I cannot recognize flowers very easily, but still I would like to give it a try. Is it some kind of monthly flower like we have in China? By the way, I am now used to seeing this special avatar of yours. But it is ok if you would like to have a new avatar for a change. There is no problem for me to get used to your new one. lol

Hi dear jisir, since this is a year old discussion, so you haven’t seen my arlier avatar. After I had reached the 550 posts I then shifted over to a dear and her baby as an avatar. My current avatar is the third one as what you could see here. It is flower which I had snatched during my vacation at a hill resort. Frankly, I have no idea what kind of the flower is. I was only fascinated by its brilliant color and attractive appearance. Of course, it doesn’t matter whatever avatar we change as we are so familiar with our usernames mutually. Happy posting and bye.

First of all, congratulation for achieving 500 posts. You can upload photos and copy-paste text into your response now! I think it's totally up to you to change your avatar and it has nothing to do with the 500 post score. Since you avatar is good enough, I think can continue to use it.

Hi dear cheongyc, I should have to say thank you to you months ago. I have changed my avatar twice after started this discussion. I could still remember your first avatar. It’s a photo of you which is a bit blur. The second avatar was a large yellow sunflower.

That may be a good idea, my consern for you is that if you change your avatar, you may not be recognized by some of your friends already, because your avatar is already known to them

Hi Perry, I don’t think so, as we are quite familiar with the usernames of many friends here. I still could remember you, though you have changed your avatar twice. Your first avatar was showing portion of the face that showed only your eyes. The second one was a picture of a lady.

Unless you are bored with your avatar I don't see why you should change it there's no rule about it I don't think it's up to you. I'm still miles away from five hundred posts it seems though I'm getting closer, only around 140 to go now I think it seems to take forever.

Hi nancyrowina, I agree that changing avatar is a personal liking. I feel rather ridiculous to add comment after months and now glad to see your posting number is over 1380. Hopping that you could keep on active here.

There is no reason for you to change your avatar, this is a purely personal choice. many Mylot members have used the same avatar since they joined, and some do not even bother to upload one at all. I have used quite a few different ones so far and will probably change again in the future, but that is my own choice. Congratulations on reaching the magic 500 posts.

Thank you Asylum. Yeah, it is a personal choice whether a user wants to change his avatar or not. After participating mylot for a year I have changed my avatar twice and this is my third avatar. I am going to change another one later.
