I watched that movie yesterday, and every one recommended me on this movie. They told me that it's hillarious movie, and i'm gonna cry from laughing. I was so excited to watch it, and got real dissapointed. The movie didn't make me laugh at all.
What do you think about it?

Wow!!! Good work dude. It's hard not liking a movie like borat. But I belive in personal choice. It's just that you need to improve your sense of humour.

As I've watch it I have quit moment to examine my inner values.
the defiantly unapologetic and laugh out loud funny Borat: Cultural Learning of America for make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan is not for the easily offended of for those who don't get Sacha Baron Cohen's satirical humor. Nothing is off limit --not feminists, Jewish People, Pentecostals,Homosexual, Politicians.
Sacha Baron Cohen is a comic genius!

A lot of my friends liked it, but my reaction was similar to yours. I'm pretty open minded and normally enjoy humor that pushes boundaries, but the humor in Borat seemed so weak and dated.
I would rather he have made movie based on his Ali G character.

I agree with you totally. It disapoints me too. I did not think that one movie can be so offensive. It's too much insulting. What they shows are not funy from the point of view of a good sence of humor. Some part of that movie is just disgusting.

There already is an Ali G movie.. This one was so great to see how the americans reacted to him. "whats up vanilla face". The best part is probably when he's at the news center and keeps bugging the weather man who cant stop laughing. "This suit is black not". The whole point of it is this smart cambridge graudate who is taking the piss out of all these people by making them believe hes a character from kazahkstan, thats what makes it funny.

Yeah, I honestly expected alot more from the movie too.
Oh well, there are a few gems in it, like the whole "scared of jews" part, but whatever.. It kinda reminds me of Anchorman.
Also, I still find it kinda funny too lol
Parents got me a Borat poster. Where the hell do I put it.

Hi! I'm kind on the fence with this one. I wanted to see it, but there is so much controversy surrounding it. I tend to trust my friends' judgement. If you didn't think it was funny, I probably won't either. :-) Have a great day!

The film is rude, offensive and downright vulgar! They want people laugh at immoral behavior. He degrades the people of Kazakhstan. That kind of vulgarity is not humorous. Anyway it's just an opinion if others don't agree it's ok. But for me I really don't like it. I'm not against the actor but I just don't like the script.
