Now it's my turn to suffer

I don't use the email notification at all. I just go to discussions my friends started and go from there. I think it's easier as I have too many friends, if they all wrote a discussion a day...I couldn't keep up...lol I like the seek and find method better...

I agree with Alexandria that by my answering this discussion and everything being fine that I will jinx meself and won't receive anymore notifications. I was there last week with this problem and it went on for a week along with many other glitches for me. I truly feel for you as that's the way I prefer to answer my friends discussions is straight from my email. I have a great little system going. My suggestion as someone else suggested is to message mylot everyday to keep them informed if your not receiving your notifications. I say this because when it happened this last time for me and I messaged them the reply that I got back was like they weren't even aware that their was a problem. Until then you will temporarily have to decide how to answer discussions, for me I tried the friends link but their was a glitch in that also that it showed no new discussions only older ones from either days, weeks, or months before. I am almost afraid to respond to this because with my luck, as soon as I say "mine is fine", something is sure to go wrong. It has happend to me a couple of times and it was very annoying as I was used to using the email system. I used the "discussions my friends started" and the when all the emails came flooding in, I didn't know what topics I had responded to, and I had to read every one of them and the responses. I hope you get it sorted out soon.

Will that's very unfortunate for you sweetlady but I think you can still find good discussions by just browsing around. You can either go to the general discussions where there are lots of interesting topics to choose from. You can also the search engine of mylot to find relevant topics you want to tackle. Sometimes its nice to do things on a different way. It's gives you a refreshing way to do the things than usual.

hey friend, have you check your junk or bulk folder? sometime it end up going there for some reason , i know i have tons of them went into junk mail folder for some reason, so most of the time i just check your profile or other people's profile that way i know if they have new discussion or not.

i didn't even know taht you can get a notification when one of your friends stard a discussion, thanks for the information, i will look in the preferences to see if i can get this working, and wish you good luck with this, hope mylot support team fix it for you

It actually depends on where you start looking. If you start with your friends, in my bookmark list I have discussions my friends started (which this one was on top of the list at: http://www.mylot.com/nr/friendsdiscussions.aspx I also faced this once before where I had trouble finding discussions to reply to, which led me to start this discussion at: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/372147.aspx The ones who had responded might give you some additional ideas.

Hi sweetlady Im sorry your going through that I went through it last week just make sure you notify them and keep doing it everyday till they answer you. I know its really awful I wish I could help you.

Mine seems fine though slow unless that means fewer are posting discussions. Double check the notification thing you know. Email them and then see if you get an answer. Mine had been down for like 5 days last time. That sure made alot of work for me. Today I cannot go past the first page of the discussions I have responded to. People complain if we don't go back and check. Well sometimes we cannot. Glitches are a way of life around here. I hope it improves for you soon.

Welcome to the club lol. Yes it's very annoying, after my last email to mylot they fixed the problem and it worked for me fine for just two days then it stopped again :( Still waiting for response from mylot admin and I hope they will really fix it this time, I guess it's because the site is growing very fast some bugs started to appear for some members, they said that they are working on it, they fixed it for me but it happened again, it might take time to solve this problem once and for good so let's hope they will fix it soon.

i am not having this problem. go to your friends list and make sure yours notify me is turned on. if not the email mylot. they are very good about getting back to you. do worry, you can always find a good topic. keep your head up sweetlady!

I have the same problem - haven't received an email since Sunday. I know I should contact MyLot, hut I am so busy with work these days, it is actually quite a relief to go to my inbox, and see only 2 or 3 emails, instead of 50+. LOL! I never had time to answer them all recently anyway, so now I just trawl around my Friends' discussions for half an hour here or there, and pick up on whatever discussions I can. That's all I can do right now!

yeah even i face the same problem earlier i used to get lots but i always prefer to respond discussions by login and not try mails... anyways till this problem solves u can atleast try to respond from main site

Right you have two choices..first choice go into your frined's profiles and find a discussion of each friend in there OR go on the left hand side and where it says discussions started by my friends..pickout discussions from there. Don't worry this happens but Mylot always fixes it..It just means it takes a bit longerbut you will get there in the end..you may even get to my boring discussions lol..

It was awful not getting the notifications .. I had four days of it .. and had to change my email address ... it's just so much easier to reply to discussions from the email notifications ... At least I know I am going to get quality discussions on topics I can reply about if I reply to all my firends discussions first ... after I have managed to reply to all my friends I then start on the hot topics, new posts etc etc

I haven't had this problem yet..I don't think anyways.. maybe I should keep track better.. there might be some of my friends I'm not getting... I will have to check... HOpe they get it resolved

my dear I had this problem last week but now it is all over and I am receiving my mails again...I didn't do anything..they first disappeared and then they appeared again...maybe you can send an email to them and tell them that you are having this problem so they can solve it soon..anyway I am sure they are solving it in any case as it happened to me...be patient!and let us know when it is all right

It has not happened for me. For your case, I guess you have to rely on the next alternative. Browse from the "discussions started by my friends" link instead. :/

It doesn't happen to me as i was refered only , but i don't invite anyone before .

no i dont think so there is any problem in it.I get them properly.
